Collins joined the SUNS in 2018 as a pre-listed player from Weribee, after previously playing 14 AFL games for Fremantle. Since joining the club, Collins has been a revelation as a key defender, going on to win the 2020 SUNS Club Champion. Collins was promoted to the vice-captaincy in 2021 and continues to lead the playing group. The key defender is excellent at preventing his opponent from marking the ball and is also strong at reading the play and intercept-marking. Collins is signed until the end of 2025.
