A tall defender originally from Flynn in the ACT’s Belconnen district, Bell was a member of the GWS Giants Academy and joined the SUNS after the Giants did not match the bid at Pick 49 in the National Draft. With good speed, athleticism and ball-handling skills, he was the Academy’s Under 16 MVP in 2022 and played all eight games in their Coates Talent League campaign in 2023-24. Standing at almost two metres tall, Bell can also play forward and has a big upside.
