SUNS captain Touk Miller’s incredible 2022 season has been recognised with a third-placed finish in the 2022 Brownlow Medal vote count.

Miller finished on 27 votes, behind winner Patrick Cripps (29) and runner-up Lachie Neale (28).

Miller polled the perfect three votes in four games this season, Rounds 7, 12, 19 and 20.

The recognition caps off an incredible individual season for the SUNS skipper who earned his second Therabody All-Australian blazer, was voted the AFL Coaches’ Champion Player of the Year and also won his second-straight SUNS Club Champion.

Miller played all 22 games this season and ranked inside the top 10 in the AFL for a number of key statistics including clearances (2nd), contested possessions (3rd), disposals (7th) and tackles (8th).

He averaged 28.5 disposals, six tackles and eight clearances per game.
