The Gold Coast SUNS has named its extended squad to face Geelong at 2:10pm on Sunday at Heritage Bank Stadium.

There will be at least two changes to the Round 2 team, with only one inclusion confirmed at this stage.

Jy Farrar has been recalled after collecting 25 disposals and 10 marks in the VFL last week, and has been named on the half-back flank.

Brayden Fiorini and Bodhi Uwland have both been omitted.

Wil Powell is in the mix to return to AFL level after being named on the extended bench.

He joins Tom Berry, who could make his club debut, Mabior Chol and Hewago Oea as possible inclusions.

Charlie Constable, Sam Flanders, Joel Jeffrey and last week’s substitute Alex Sexton remain on the extended interchange which will be trimmed to four at 5pm on Friday.

With both Gold Coast and Geelong searching for the first win of 2023, the SUNS will be aiming to #DoItForDave in David Swallow’s historic 200th match.

The match against Geelong gets underway at 2:10pm, with the SUNS also playing the Cats in a VFL curtain raiser from 10:25am.

Early gates open at 10:15am, with main gates opening at 12:15pm.

Tickets are still available on Ticketek starting at just $11 for juniors and $30 for adults.
