Touk Miller was ruled out of the match against North Melbourne at half-time after a wrist injury during the second quarter.

GC SUNS Head Physiotherapist Lindsay Bull said the skipper would be sidelined for the next four weeks.

“Touk was sent for scans on Monday which have shown he has sustained a small fracture to his wrist,” Bull said.

“We expect Touk to be unavailable in the short term as he allows time for his wrist to heal.”

Fellow skipper Jarrod Witts sustained a fractured vertebrae in Round 16 and is a test to play this weekend.

Sam Day was unable to finish the match against North Melbourne after succumbing to a plantar fascia issue in his foot.

The key forward will miss the next 4-6 weeks as he recovers.

In the VFL, fellow key forward Levi Casboult sustained a hamstring injury which will see him unavailable for 4-6 weeks himself.

Ethan Read also underwent scans on a leg injury which has shown a small fracture, with a timeline for his return to be determined in due course.

In good news, Lachie Weller has continued to train fully with the group and is eyeing off a return to play in Round 19.
