The AFL has confirmed the remaining fixture for the Smithy’s VFL season, treating SUNS fans to five double-headers at People First Stadium between Rounds 14-21.

Following this Sunday’s clash against Geelong, the SUNS will be preparing for their fourth bye in just 12 rounds, VFL Head Coach Tate Kaesler highlighted that the newly released fixture provides a promising stretch for the SUNS to build momentum.

“As much as it's been pretty hard with the fixture to be able to build consistency, hopefully we can finish off this week (Round 11) and then have a bit of a break (in Round 12) and then really attack the second half of the year,” Kaesler said.

“We're looking forward to a really strong and consistent back half.”

Round 14 kicks off Saturday June 28, with an AFL curtain raiser at People First Stadium against the Casey Demons (9.35am first bounce).

The SUNS will host a mix of double headers including their first Friday night lights clash at Carrara against Collingwood on Friday, July 11 (3.55pm first bounce).

Revel in the rivalry when Gold Coast host the Brisbane Lions at the Austworld Centre Oval on Saturday, July 26 (10.15am first bounce), ahead of the AFL QClash.

Fans can catch more of the VFL action at People First Stadium when the SUNS take on Richmond on Saturday, August 2 (12.25pm first bounce) and GWS on Saturday, August 16 (first bounce 3.45pm)
