SUNS defender Daniel Rioli will be unavailable for several weeks after sustaining a leg injury in Sunday’s loss against the Crows in Adelaide.

Rioli was subbed out of the game at half-time following a contact injury to his left leg sustained during the first half.

“Scans on Monday shows that Daniel has sustained a small fracture to his fibula. After discussing the results with Daniel, a decision was made that he will undergo an operation which will make him unavailable for selection for several weeks,” GC SUNS Head Physiotherapist Lindsay Bull said.

Sam Collins (calf) and Lachie Weller (cork) both missed the weekend’s match but are expected to be available for selection in Saturday’s QClash.

Touk Miller’s (hamstring) return-to-play timeline has been adjusted to short-term, while young midfielder Will Graham also continues to near a return to action.
