SUNS defender Mac Andrew has earned a second successive selection in the AFL Players’ Association 22Under22 team.
For the second year running the 21-year-old has been named at full back in the fan-selected team which recognises the finest players in the AFL aged 22 years and under.
The versatile defender, who has had a career-best season in defence, was selected in 73% of teams.
Often tasked with lining up on some of the AFL’s fiercest forwards, Andrew ranks as elite in spoils (7.5 per game) also averaging 13.5 disposals and 3.6 rebound 50s.
It’s Andrew’s second selection in the 22Under22 team, joining Ben King and Noah Anderson as current SUNS players to have earned multiple selections.
