The Gold Coast SUNS will be bolstered by the return of several players for Wednesday night’s pivotal match against the Bombers.

Daniel Rioli and Bailey Humphrey will be available for selection after being sidelined in recent weeks with leg and knee injuries respectively, as will 247-gamer David Swallow who has been sidelined with a knee complaint.

Will Graham is expected to be in contention in weeks to come to return, should the club qualify for its first finals series.

Several SUNS will be in contention to play their first game of the 2025 AFLW season this Saturday in Adelaide. 

After being sidelined for Rounds 1 & 2, Clara Fitzpatrick, Jacqueline Dupuy and Katie Lynch are expected to be fit for Round 3 against Yartapuulti. 

“Clara, Jac and Katie all successfully played scrimmage over the weekend and will be available for selection this Thursday,” Gold Coast SUNS AFLW Physiotherapist Jasmine Herlihy confirmed.

Tara Harrington continues to progress well in her rehabilitation and is likely to be available in the short-term.
