Several SUNS players will be unavailable for Round 14 following injuries suffered in the Round 13 loss against the Brisbane Lions.
Lachie Weller and Will Graham will both be sidelined in the medium-term following hamstring injuries suffered during the second and third quarters of Saturday’s game.
“Lachie and Will received scans on Monday with the results confirming hamstring strains that will sideline both players for several matches,” GC SUNS Head Physiotherapist Andrew Weller said.
Defender Wil Powell will also be sidelined in the short-term with a shoulder injury.
“Wil was sent for scans on his right shoulder following a collision early in Saturday night’s match. He won’t be available for selection this Friday night,” Weller added.
Midfielder Bailey Humphrey received precautionary scans on his ribs on Saturday night following a collision in the fourth quarter, but was cleared of any damage.
After being tests for Round 13, both Jake Rogers and Jamarra Ugle-Hagan finished their return matches without concern in the VFL.
