With a host of players returning in the NEAFL last weekend, Gold Coast’s match committee will have  many options available to strengthen the team for this weekend’s clash with Collingwood.

Jack Bowes and Ben Ainsworth returned from quad and foot injuries in the NEAFL to post some promising numbers in their first game back.

Bowes had a goal, 25 disposals and 10 clearances in the midfield while Ainsworth had 22 and five.

Both would be in heavy consideration to come into the team this week.

Meanwhile Jordan Murdoch also returned from injury to post a team-high 27 disposals to go with six clearances and a goal, playing on the wing.

He’s another who could add some speed to the mix this weekend.

Jack Hombsch has been ruled out for the season after suffering an ankle injury last weekend against Essendon.

There are a number of suitors available to replace him, with Charlie Ballard a chance to return and Jack Leslie and Caleb Graham performing well in the NEAFL.

Jack Martin is expected to be available after finger surgery and is another option the selection committee could turn to.

Hard-working midfielder Geroge Horlin-Smith continues to put up solid numbers in the NEAFL while Brad Scheer also had a big game against the Giants.

Connor Nutting kicked four goals, including three in the first quarter and could be a chance to debut.

Who do you think is in the mix?
