The Gold Coast SUNS have made three changes to the team to take on the West Coast Eagles in Perth.

As confirmed earlier today by Senior Coach Stuart Dew, Wil Powell will return to the side and play in front of friends and family in his hometown.

He comes in for Pearce Hanley who has been ruled out with a minor shin injury.

Anthony Miles also returns to the side after a two-week layoff with a corked calf and replaces Will Brodie

After 40 disposals, nine tackles and nine marks in the NEAFL last weekend, Aaron Young will play his first senior game for the year and take his total tally to 99 games.

He has replaced first-year forward Jack Lukosius in the side who has been named as an emergency.

The SUNS travelled to Perth on Thursday and have taken two emergencies for the long-haul trip.

The match will be played at Optus Stadium at 8:10pm AEST on Saturday.
