IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL ATTENDEES
Saturday’s game will be very different to a normal SUNS match-day. Strict health and safety measures will be in place that must be adhered to. Please consider the following guidelines before redeeming your ticket.
You must have a valid ticket for the match. Standard 2020 membership cards will not grant you access.
Members will be allocated seating via Ticketek and as such members will not have access to their usual membership seat. There are several seating restrictions in place from Queensland Health and the AFL and we ask for your understanding and support in sitting in the aisle and row listed on your ticket.
Once you arrive at the row listed on your ticket, there is no allocated seating, you may sit with your family and friends ensuring you leave two seats empty between your group and the next group of people/person.
Your Ticket and Entry
Entry tickets will be sent directly to your mobile phone. Please ensure your mobile phone is charged to allow your tickets to scan on arrival at the stadium. Your ticket shows the gate number you must enter through, your ticket will not scan at any other gate. Gates open at 6.30pm and will close at 7.50pm, entry after this time will not be possible.
Please maintain social distancing whilst entering the ground at all times.
Your membership card will not be valid for entry to this game.
Paid parking will be available in the Blue Car Park, directly across the road from Metricon Stadium. Car parking passes can be purchased via Ticketek at the same time as your ticket(s). Parking will cost $10 per car.
Getting to and from Metricon Stadium
Members and fans attending Metricon Stadium are advised that traffic and transport arrangements will vary from normal match days in order to provide a COVID Safe customer experience.
In consultation with Queensland Health, the stadium has made additional public car parking available for this event. We encourage those patrons who choose to travel to the match by private vehicle, to pre-purchase car parking prior to the event. Purchase car parking here.
For those guests requiring public transport, free event shuttle buses will operate from Nerang Train Station only. Parking is available at Nerang Station.
The usual Boowaggan Road Park and Ride facility will be closed. Guests who would normally utilise this service are encouraged to park at Nerang Station.
All attendees are advised that the Metricon Stadium COVID Safe Plan requires careful management of stadium entry and exit and this may cause delays for some people owing to social distancing requirements. These delays may extend to the car park and public transport operations and we thank you in advance for your patience..
Customer Service on the Day
For any members who have a query, the Members Services windows will open 6.00pm – 7.50pm, located at Gates 1 and 3. The Member Service location at the Metricon Terrace will not be operational at this game.
Listed on your ticket will be a zone in which your seat is located. In order to comply with COVID Safe venue plans, you will need to remain in your zone. There will be toilets and food and beverage facilities within your zone. Staff will be on hand to assist if required.
What can I bring to the stadium?
We recommend not bringing bags into the Stadium to avoid delays with bag searches by security prior to entry. If you need to bring a bag, please limit bags to A4 size and be ready for your bag to be searched.
Water refill stations will not be available. Please ensure any water you bring into the Stadium is contained in a sealed, plastic container, up to a maximum of 1.5 litres.
Patrons may bring homemade food items or special dietary requirements into the Stadium provided they are packaged appropriately, and the items can be easily viewed by security if requested. Commercially branded takeaway food and beverage will not be allowed into the Stadium. No items in glass, crockery or cans will be allowed into the Stadium.
Food and Beverage Purchases
There will be very limited catering offer available to purchase at the stadium. All transactions are cashless and once you've ordered and collected, you must return to your seat with your food/beverage.
Exiting the Stadium
At Three-Quarter time and the end of the match guests will be encouraged to wait for direction of stadium staff before exiting their section. This is to promote staged egress and avoid congestion. Patrons will be required to exit via the same gate through which they entered the stadium.
