What it means for Sydney: With four wins from their past six matches the Swans are incredibly still in the finals race, but they must be just about perfect for the rest of the year. They'll also be keen for some revenge after going down to Gold Coast at home last season.
What it means for Gold Coast: After nine losses in a row the Suns need a win to give them a boost for the rest of the season. They caused the upset of the year at the SCG 12 months ago so it's a real possibility.
The stat: After dominating the opening term and booting 6.4 in round 18 last season, the Swans kicked 2.12 for the rest of the match as they were overrun by Gold Coast. The Suns kicked 11.11 to win by 24 points.
The match-up: Tom Papley v Lachie Weller
Both players are in fantastic form with Papley leading the Swans' goalkicking with 23 majors this season, and Weller providing the Suns with dash off half-back. Papley is Sydney's barometer inside 50 with his speed but Weller is just as damaging with his pace and ball use, so it should be a fantastic battle.
It's a big week for: Touk Miller
After missing a few weeks with a heel complaint, Miller returned to play in Round 12 against North Melbourne before copping a severe cork to his quad. He didn’t play in Townsville prior to the bye so will be desperate to put his injury troubles behind him with a big game this weekend.
Big call: History will repeat and the SUNS will hold on for another win in a final-quarter thriller.
