Noah Anderson and Izak Rankine have both been voted into the 2022 AFL Players’ Association’s final 22Under22 team.

Promoted into the leadership group this year, Anderson has enjoyed an extremely consistent third AFL season, averaging 26 disposals and six clearances from his 21 games.

Anderson secured 79% of the fan votes for his first appearance in the final 22Under22 team.

Rankine has played 18 games this season and kicked 29 goals.

This is Rankine’s second selection in the 22Under22 team after also being named in 2020.

The pair join fellow SUNS Wil Powell, Ben King, Jack Lukosius (all selected in 2021) in earning selection to a 22Under22 team.
