The GC SUNS have named an experienced side for Sunday’s VFL clash against Geelong at Heritage Bank Stadium.

Defender Sean Lemmens has been named to play his first game of 2023 in the VFL as has key tall Mac Andrew.

Brayden Fiorini and Bodhi Uwland are also set for their first VFL game of the year in a squad that includes 18 players with AFL experience.

Mabior Chol, Alex Sexton, Tom Berry and Charlie Constable have been named as emergencies for the AFL squad with one of the quartet to feature in that match as the SUNS substitute.

The SUNS will be eyeing a second straight win to open its VFL campaign following a 31-point win over Williamstown last weekend.

The two teams have never previously met in the VFL.

Opening bounce at Heritage Bank Stadium is at 10.25am with entry via Gate 3 from 10.15am. The match will be streamed via the AFL website, AFL Live Official App and VFL App.
