A pair of SUNS are in the mix to be available for selection for Saturday night’s clash against the Crows in Adelaide.
Both Jake Rogers and Will Graham will be tests to return to the field this weekend after overcoming ankle and hamstring injuries respectively.
In unfortunate news, Elliott Himmelberg is expected to be sidelined for an extended period after injuring his MCL in the VFL on Saturday.
“Scans unfortunately confirmed Elliott has suffered an MCL injury from Saturday’s match. He will now consult with specialists on the next steps and we expect him to be unavailable for some time,” GC SUNS Head Physiotherapist Andrew Weller said.
Daniel Rioli continues to progress in his recovery from a broken jaw suffered against Hawthorn in Round 15, and joins Alex Davies, Lachie Weller, Lachie Gulbin and Jy Farrar on the short-term injury list.
