The Gold Coast SUNS AFLW team will head into the first week of finals with all players who won in Round 6 available for selection.

AFLW Head Physiotherapist Aaron Duffy told the Griffith University Injury Update it was pleasing to see everyone come through unscathed, including midfielder Hannah Dunn who returned to the side.

“There were no significant injuries from the match on the weekend so everyone that played on the weekend will be available for the first round of finals,” Duffy said.

“We had Hannah Dunn come back into the match after her calf injury and got through without any concerns as well so she’ll also be available.”

Forward Maddy Roberts has been ruled out for the next two to three weeks after suffering a calf injury at training.

“In our last session before the game on the weekend Maddy reported some calf pain and was then sent for a scan the following day,” Duffy said.

“That unfortunately came back as a small calf tear so Maddy will start her rehab for that one and that will be about a two-to-three week return.”
