SUNS fans it’s time to select your Austworld Player of the Round following Saturday afternoon’s brilliant 41-point win against the Lions. 

Ben King was back to his best kicking the SUNS first two majors of the match before adding a third before half-time. He finished with 5.1 goals and six marks.

Sam Flanders continued his good form of late to gather 32 disposals whilst Noah Anderson displayed his run and prolific ball use with his 29 disposals.

Co-captain, Touk Miller was everywhere amassing 32 disposals and five tackles on top of limiting the impact of Brisbane’s Lachie Neale.

Sam Collins stood up tall in his 100th game with a huge ask on Joe Daniher and managed to keep him goalless for the match.

Run was provided all day through Brandon Ellis who amounted 21 disposals, kicked one goal and helped inside the contest as well with nine contested possessions. 

David Swallow was prominent early with his contest work and finished with 23 disposals and eight tackles. 

Wil Powell provided run and skill off half back with 28 disposals whilst back six compatriot Mac Andrew stood strong taking seven marks (three contested) with his 12 disposals.

Matt Rowell was involved in the contest all day with a game high 13 tackles. Rowell also gathered 19 disposals and kicked a brilliant goal in the fourth quarter.
