SUNS midfielder Alex Davies will be sidelined for several weeks after undergoing an operation on his foot.
The 24-year-old has missed the last two matches against Port Adelaide and North Melbourne after aggravating a mid foot sprain in the win against St Kilda in Round 9.
“We are now working through a rehabilitation plan with Alex and expect him to be unavailable in the medium-term,” GC SUNS Head Physiotherapist Andrew Weller said.
StreetSmarts SUNS Academy product Will Graham is progressing well through concussion protocols and expected to be available to face the Lions next weekend.
Jake Rogers, Jamarra Ugle-Hagan and Lachie Weller all also missed the Round 11 match against the Roos and are tracking well in their respective recoveries, with further clarity to be had on the trio’s availability for next Saturday’s QClash following this weekend’s bye.
